Fried apples
Ingredients
- 6 Red delicious apples Peeled cored and sliced
- 1/4 Cup Water
- 1/3 Cup Butter
- 1/3 Cup Light brown sugar
- 2 Tablespoons Lemon juice
Instructions
- Apple should be sliced into thick slices. Place in a skillet with the water and butter. Cook over moderate heat, stirring to prevent sticking, until barely tender. Sprinkle with the brown sugar and lemon juice. Toss and cover, let stand 10 minutes before serving.
